Who we are

vslProcure can be reached at hello@vslprocure.com. In these terms "we" and "us" mean the operator of vslProcure, and "you" means the person using the website and the company you act for.

The service

vslProcure is an online network where buyers of ship supplies and services (ship owners, managers and operators) find marine suppliers, send requests for quotation and enquiries, receive quotations and keep purchase-order records. We provide the platform; we are not a party to the contracts that buyers and suppliers make with each other, and we do not sell, deliver or guarantee goods or services listed on the site.

Accounts

You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. An account belongs to a company; colleagues you invite join the same company and can see its requests, quotations, orders and messages. You are responsible for activity under your company's accounts and for keeping passwords private. Tell us at once at hello@vslprocure.com if you think an account has been misused.

Your content and listings

You keep ownership of what you publish: company details, products, services, images, documents and messages. You allow us to host, display and share that content to run the service, for example to show your public profile, to send your request to matching suppliers and to index public pages in search engines. Only publish information you are entitled to share. Do not copy other companies' catalogues, directories, images or trademarks, and do not publish licensed product codes you are not allowed to use. We may edit or remove content that breaks these terms.

Transactions between companies

Requests, quotations and purchase orders are made between buyers and suppliers directly. Prices, delivery, quality, payment, documents and compliance are matters for the parties. Check commercial and payment details through trusted channels before you pay or deliver, and keep your own records of what was agreed.

Badges and verification

The Verified badge means our team checked the items described on How we verify at the time of the check. It is not a guarantee of a company's performance, solvency or the quality of its goods or services. "Founding member" means a supplier joined during the founding-member offer. Reviews, when shown, come only from buyers after a completed order.

Acceptable use

Do not use vslProcure to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, to collect other users' data, to impersonate anyone, to post false or misleading information, to break the law (including sanctions and export rules), or to interfere with the security or operation of the service. Automated access is allowed only through interfaces we publish for it and within their limits.

Fees

Using vslProcure is free for buyers. Suppliers can list, receive requests and send quotations for free and are never charged per quotation or per order. Optional paid features, if we introduce them, will be described with their price before you choose them.

Disclaimers and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise that it is always uninterrupted or error-free, or that information published by users is correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from transactions between users, and our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which may be nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using vslProcure at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts, or remove listings, that break these terms or put other users at risk. Records we must keep for legal, security or dispute reasons may be retained after an account closes, as the Privacy policy explains.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service changes; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
